This Week’s Meal Plan
Tonight we are having Glazed Pork Chops and Mash they were on Special last week in Supervalu so I grabbed some.
Always try and grab specials of Meat and Veg you can always store them in the freezer until needed. It is a great way of keeping your food bill down.
Another way of keeping your food bill down is to try and eat vegetarian once in a while. My Tummy Warming Stew is great whether you use Beef or Vegetables. And Aldi have a special on Aubergines/Egg Plants which would work perfectly in this dish to bulk it out.
Nothing is nicer on a cold Winter’s day than a warming pie. And these Beef and Guinness pies are so delicious.
This Thursday on Snapshot and Snippets I have another great Slow-cooker recipe for you. Chicken in White Wine Sauce with Crispy Bacon. It is divine and I was so happy with this recipe that I wrote it down. I did notice there is an alcoholic theme to the last two recipes ! Drop by on Thursday for the full recipe with a printable recipe card.
Sometimes you need an easy dish in you Meal planning menu during the week. And our Go To Carbonara is a breeze to make and always a hit.
Slow cooker Chili is anther dish that can be made easily and could also be vegetarian. If it is on the slow-cooker you have your day free for fun and will come home to a tasty treat.
Aldi has their Spatchcock Chicken on special offer this week, I highly recommend them. They also have a Roast of beef which is a bit more expensive but Aldi Special Yorkshire puddings are AMAZING !
As many of you know, I am in Ireland so no Thanksgiving for us. I do love pie though and in honor of being thankful, I am going to make my Cherry Pie.
