Tasty Spinach, Bacon and Chickpea Pasta
I wanted to share more recipes using ingredient straight from the garden and if there is one thing still growing at this time of year it is Spinach. So I made this tasty Spinach, Bacon and Chickpea Pasta.
Not only is it tasty but the ingredients are not expensive especially if you are growing one of them – learn all about Growing Spinach in Winter here.
I use Gluten free pasta because of my daughters Gluten intolerance. You can read all about it here Coeliac Awareness Week Meal Planning. This quick and tasty pasta uses cheap ingredients and is quick to make but tastes delicious
350g gluten free penne pasta ( optional)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
8 rashers smoked back bacon, chopped
200ml hot vegetable stock
150g pack, creamed cheese with herb
