Instructions
  1. First if you are making in an Ice-cream maker – make sure your bowl is prepared.
  2. Also I always have frozen Banana in my freezer ( because if I get a lot of over ripe ones I peel and chop them and pop them in the freezer for ice cream and smoothies ) If you do not have frozen banana you will have to prepare them the day before.
  3. In a mixer- put your coconut milk, frozen bananas and matcha powder and blend.
  4. If you like your ice-cream sweeter add some Maple syrup to taste ( I ended up not using it as my bananas where sweet enough)
  5. Add in your chocolate chips
  6. Pour the lot into the icecream maker while it is switched on – I learnt this lesson the hard way !!
  7. Once finished churning you can either eat it as soft serve or transfer it to a freezer-safe container and let harden for 4-6 hours.
  8. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, simply pour the “batter” into a freezer-safe container, cover, freeze, and stir/whisk every hour or so to aerate.
Recipe Notes

The taste was incredible and the texture can be improved apparently by adding a drop of vodka but I was going for healthy so no vodka for me.
