It is Monday again – my first week of work went well but my appreciation of working Mums, which was always high, went through the roof !! My menu last week worked out which made me happy and my slowcooker is the best invention ever in my eyes. This week on Menu planning Monday I am using my slowcooker again but using a few new recipes – Chicken Risotto for example.
If you wish to learn more about the process of menu planning check out this post – HERE or go to I am an Organizing Junkie and check out there link up today for lots of menus to suit ever budget and taste.
I have gone again for easy meals and things I can throw in the slowcooker some days it is quite late when I get in so coming in to smell a home cooked meal is great.
Beef stew in the slowcooker – it is already in there waiting to go on and as it is a wet and wild day outside I will be grateful for it when I get back. The recipe is available – HERE
I am going to have a go at Chicken Risotto – I know lots have people have done it but I never have and no I am not sure why so wish me luck 🙂
An old favourite at this stage and so quick to throw together – recipe is available HERE
I love throwing this into the slowcooker, it is goes down well and is great chilli in enchiladas too – the recipe is avaiable HERE with my other favourite slowcooker recipe .
Friday is treat day so this week I plan on making Home-made burgers and the sweet potato fries are inspired by Eddie Rockets – they are lovely and if you can get them give them a try. I only wish I could make their Malted milk-shakes too 🙂
Why does it just say stir-fry ? Well on shopping day I shop what is on special, sometimes it is chicken, sometimes it is pork or beef or prawns so I won’t know until I go to the shops.
Roast and Veggies as usual and as we have a glut of apples at the moment my favourite Apple Crumble – check out my favourite apple recipes HERE.
So that is this week sorted my shopping list is written and hopefully it will all go smoothly 🙂
Have a great week yourself and remember it is never to late to start menu planning and you can always follow me on Facebook to see how this week goes.
