This cheap and easy Chilli sausage, potato, bean casserole is comfort food at its best. Not only is it filling, it’s simple, uses just seven ingredients and the kids will love it too!

  1. Par-Boil your potatoes in a pot and cook until ready
  2. Heat the oil in a large frying pan cook your sausages for until brown and the cooked potatoes and fry together for 5 minutes 
  3. Add the onion and rinsed kidney beans, pepper and cook for a further 5 mins, turning the sausages occasionally.
  4. Add the chilli sauce, rinse the jar out with a splash of water and add to the pan. 
  5. Pop into a baking dish Cookin a preheated,180°C 350°F oven – covered for 15 mins.
Recipe Notes

The great thing about this recipe is you can take it up a notch really easily – use chorizo instead of sausages or try Chilli Cheese sausages in it. In our case, we use gluten-free sausages.
