Creamy Cod and Leek Cheesy Pots
Today I am sharing my tasty Creamy Cod and Leek Pots with you . Want a way to get fish into your kids without it being in finger form ? Well, this tasty recipe can help you with that.
I love sharing my recipes with you and I am sorry it was very late this week but unfortunately, our beautiful Ginger Tom, Jinx passed away suddenly and blogging comes second when a pet’s life is taken. We are all a bit heartbroken but I am actually posting this in his honor as he loved this dish too.
This was Jinx as a baby not long after he was rescued ( from a Bin or all places!!!). He made our lives much happier with his gentle and affectionate personality. Rest in peace little Man.

Why it is good to get your Kids eating Fish
Fish is a high-protein, low-fat food that provides a range of health benefits. White-fleshed fish, in particular, is lower in fat than any other source of animal protein, and oily fish are high in omega-3 fatty acids, or the “good” fats. Since the human body can’t make significant amounts of these essential nutrients, fish are an important part of the diet. Also, fish are low in the “bad” fats commonly found in red meat, called omega-6 fatty acids.
And if you can introduce it to kids when they are young they may be slightly more adventurous as they get older. You can then try them on my Fantastic Fish Pie which is slightly more complex in flavor.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my kids did.
You could serve this with Green Beans , Steamed broccoli or baby carrots
